Director Agent · plan and film, fully automatic

Hand your idea to a director. Get back a film.

A director sits above prompts and storyboards: what to shoot, why, in what style and rhythm, how many scenes. Hand over an idea, a script, character photos, or a song and a person; the director writes a seven-part plan, renders every scene, and cuts them into one film. Every creative choice carries its reason.

Cases: what directing decisions look like on screen

Three short style homages, every frame AI-generated, published in anonymised form. Judge them not by any single shot but by whether style, rhythm and scene choices hold across the whole piece.

Seven Samurai homage Fine cut, 41 s · B&W 21:9

Rain, mud, bamboo spears. High-contrast monochrome and lateral movement unify the piece; the group is staged low and wide, and the charge is told through hooves and spray rather than stacked close-ups.

Wes Anderson style Composite, 30 s · 16:9 · with sound

Symmetry, candy colours, top-down still life. Conductor, cat, sugar cube and pocket watch appear one by one on a stopwatch beat, one frontal shot per prop, stillness as tempo.

In the Mood for Love homage Fine cut, 36 s · 21:9

Wet stone steps, a qipao, a suit, one lamp. A single staircase and one corner carry the whole film through near-misses and glances, as light shifts from warm lamp to cold rain.

What you can give the director

An idea

A few lines on what you want, for whom, and where it goes. The director asks for the rest.

A script

A finished script. The director sets direction: style, rhythm, which scenes to keep.

Character photos and references

The people on screen, plus mood references. A character with a photo renders from it, so they stay the same person across scenes.

MV: a song and a person

The director listens, cuts the song into sections, gives each a direction; the finished film carries the song.

What you get

A seven-part planPositioning, structure and rhythm, visual style, characters, scene table, asset usage, downstream constraints. Every choice with its reason, downloadable as Markdown.
Every scene renderedEach scene in the plan is rendered from its shot intent; characters with photos use them as references.
One finished filmScenes cut in order, the song laid on the track when there is one, MP4 to download.
Progress you can watchThe plan takes minutes, rendering takes hours; the studio shows every clip live and emails you when it is done.

How it works

Submit

Sign in, open Director Studio, write the idea or paste a script, upload character photos, references and music, pick a length and a shape.

Quote and reserve

The page quotes plan fee plus film on the spot. Not enough credits? Top up first. Enough? Credits are reserved and it starts.

The plan

The director writes the seven-part plan in minutes. If material is missing you get questions on the page; answer and it continues. Questions are free.

Render and deliver

Scenes render one by one, get cut together and scored; the film is settled per second actually rendered, failed scenes are free.

Pricing: plan fee from 1,000 credits, plus footage at the per-second rate

The plan fee is tiered by finished length: 1,000 credits up to 60 s, 2,500 up to 5 min, +2,500 for each further 5 min. Footage is billed separately at the same per-second rate as Video Studio: 10 credits by day, 6 by night (Beijing time). A 60-second short rendered by day comes to 1,600 credits. Plan only, no film, is also possible for the plan fee alone. Full price list on the pricing page.

FAQ

How is this different from a prompt generator?

Prompts are execution; a director decides. A generator answers "how to write it"; the director answers "what to shoot and why" — and then shoots it.

I do not use AI video tools. Is it still for me?

Yes. Everything from plan to film is automatic; you only describe the idea and hand over material. Want to shoot it yourself? Tick "plan only".

Will my material be made public?

No. Material is used only for your film, and reference images are deleted once the job is done.

How long does it take?

Hours at launch: the plan takes minutes, then every clip queues in turn, and a three-minute film is a dozen clips. Close the page; you get an email when it is done.

What if I am not happy with it?

While the director is asking questions you can change material and answers for free; failed scenes are free; if the final cut fails the film fee is refunded. After delivery, a change is a new film.

Try 15 seconds first, then decide

New accounts get 15 free seconds. Plan fee from 1,000 credits, and that is the only price.
